Sample Student MoBlog

Each Blog Post MUST include the following:
  1. Interaction with the site/object
  2. Picture of the site/object
  3. Relate to a core subject (math, science, or history). The English part is the actual text so use proper grammar and spelling.
  4. Your Name

Here is an example of a post that uses a Science Concept:

"We just finished our travel from Boston to New York. I'm so excited to be in the big apple. However, the bus ride was a drag. It took us exactly 3 hours and 45 minutes. That's 3.75 hours of pure torture. I later found out from our favorite bus driver, that the route we took was 225 miles. Using the equation Speed = Distance / Time I was able to calculate that the bus traveled at an average speed of 60 MPH. Comparing that to the way my dad drives, we drove really slow.

Moblogging

In Previous years we have had students create pamphlets, PowerPoints, and Podcasts of the trip. This year, in addition to the Podcast, we will be MoBlogging the East Coast Expedition. This will give you a LIVE look at what the students are viewing and are thinking. We look forward to giving you our perception of the East Coast Trip as a chaperone and we are really excited to see how this technology enhances our students' experience on the East Coast Expedition and how you, as the reader, view/interpret their trip.

Here are some pictures of previous east coast expeditions. We chaperones, Mr. Snedden, Mr. Ozeni, Ms. Peach (Clark), Ms. Abbott, Ms. Smith, and Ms. Olsen are all very excited and are looking forward to a fantastic 2008 Trip. This also marks our first post.
